Of the 4 seat styles in the 3rd gen 4runner, which one affords the most headroom?
Power leather
Manual leather
Manual Sport cloth with the 'wings'
Manual standard cloth

My leather power ones (limited) are shot and I want to put in something with more headroom

We own both, a '99 limited w/leather/power and a '2001 SR5 "sport" w/cloth. Honestly I can't see a difference. Both have had over
250k miles of butts sitting on them. I will say, I prefer the manual cloth for three reasons; 1, they are manual, 2, they breathe, and 3, the material
lasts longer in our Arizona sun.

I don’t think there is a difference either. My 2001 is cloth and the headroom is fine. Not having a factory sunroof gives more headroom because they use a different headliner. Power or manual shouldn't make a difference but you might be able to do more adjustments with power seats.

Mt Tundra is a limited, leather seats and I always feel like I am sliding towards the console. My daughter picked up her new SR5 Tundra yesterday and the cloth seats are way more comfortable, a little gripper so I did not slide around.
