headrest ideas??

hey there. looking to make my headrest closer to my head!! i have to practically lie down before my head hits headrest......anyone ever have any mod done to headrest to bring it more forward???

i have headrests from a 3rd gen minitruck, they down match colour, but they are way more confortable

I bet a auto upholstery shop could hook you up. I would think they could add some foam to the front and stitch up some new covers.

Just do what I did. Took my stock seats out and I am in the process of replacing them with Black leather seats from an Audi A4. Picked them up locally for $250. If you want to see install details look for the thread "Itching Itching Itching" I will be posting up the whole process in the next week or two.

On the cheap (if your gunna keep the stock seats) you could try to bend the posts to dog leg forward so you could utaluze headrests in an awake configuration. I've never been able to use headrests while driving either but always just figured it was a better way to not sleep while driving
