I'm using a 1 inch product from American acoustical. Perforated vynal face . Gonna glue it right to roof. Just haven't got to that point. Available at MSC in 10 foot rolls.

Ill be opting for sound deadener, 10mm formsheild then possibly rubber backed marine carpet (not 100% sold on the carpet idea.. will need to see how it looks first.
My mate had leopard print fabric on the roof of his bj42.. not sure on its acoustic qualities but the chix dug it..

Did you install that headliner, or have someone else do it? If you did it, how difficult was it? Seems like the general consensus is you must pull the rear cargo windows. Is it necessary to pull the windshield?Nothing too crazy, just added an extra dome light in the back. It had a broken switch so I slaved it to the front.
