Is there an easy way to replace the headlight?
I started to replace headlights and ran out of time last weekend

Is there a series of steps on how to replace them?

Any help would be great.

Norm

are you just replacing the bulbs or the whole headlight assembly?

Easy to replace the headlight, 2 bolts on top and another 2 on bottom. I dont remember exactly the size. But if you really going to replace the headlight you need to remove the corner light, the front grill and light below the headlight to get the easy access.

P.S: Pic with pink arrows show where the 4 headlight bolts mounted.

How about just replacing the headlight bulb on the PS side?

Mine just went out and haven't really had much time to investigate.

One question I have: Does the coolant overflow bottle need to be pulled? Seems like it as I can't get in behind there.

One thing to remember is if replacing the whole assembly you will need to remove and re-use the rubber grommets from the old headlight assembly.

yes pull the bottle, take out the cap and set it off to the side, grab onto the two hooks on the side of the bottle and pull up wile also pullign left right,

I dont know if this is a common thing or just my truck but there is a sharp bur on the structure near there that has laid open my hand twice in the same spot now when pulling the bottle, so be aware.

keep forgetting to find it and file it off,

after the botle is out remove the connectore off the bulb and and 1/4 turn the bulb out,

thanks guys that is what i was afraid of

just have to take off everything,
the side blinker seems kind of tricky though

pull the one screw on top of the headlight under the hood, then pull the marker light straight foreward (the blinker is the one below the headlight). it has a clip that holds it in at the bottom front next to the headlight. it does not take much force if you feel liek you are about to break plastic you probably are, stop and regroup.

Thank you very much!!!

So picture a guy who did not know that there was not another screw there and that was me.

Thank you for replying before i took the fender and the bumper off of my wifes car.
:)
