Head Part Number verification (1 Viewer)

Good Morning,

I'm looking into purchasing a remanufactured head (from Australia) for a 1FZ-FE build and they are trying to verify fitment. Anyways, the part number they gave me that they say matches the head they are selling is 11101-69097 however this part is discontinued and is unable to be verified. I contacted Toyota and they can't even find the number and gave me 11101-69107 as the current part number.

I'm wondering if 11101-69097 was a complete assembly (i.e. valves, springs, camshafts etc) while 11101-69107 is currently and empty head that I would have to build.

Any ideas if the heads are same?

No heads come completed from Toyota. They must always be built for use.

11101-69107 is the current available iteration for US model 1FZ-FE heads.

Thanks. The only difference in heads that I can find were the 92-97 versus 98+ and it appears the 98+ head was changed and eliminated the distributor for coilpacks.
