Head grinding time

Check with Massey over on Hwy 80. That is the only one I know right off hand. Maybe someone else can recomend one. Check with Mickey Plunkett. I think he had some work done by a shop here in town.

Call John. His shop did great work and the guy was familar with the F head.

Come by and take a peek. John didn't notice anything untoward on top of the pistons. Marvin at Massey's, on the other hand was taken aback by signs that coolant had been in most of the cylinders. I'm pricing replacement heads just in case.....

I think I'm going to try and hone the cylinders. I need to get the oil pan off. I'm sort of glad I was forced into this. $omeday I'd consider doing some sort of performance rebuild, depending on how well I do with this one. I may need to find a little extra work b4 the summers over to finance this.
