I had noticed a strong gas smell last weekend from under my hood, on the injector side.
Saw a small gas "stain" around one of the injectors, so I ordered new o-rings, seals, and spacers form Beno.
Neither of us thought to include a new intake plenum gasket, and no local parts stores have the Felpro equal in stock.
I also realized what the little tabs on the washers on gas line banjo fittings are there for.
I dropped not one, but TWO of them down the side of the motor, but neither hit the floor.
Checked every ledge, nook and cranny I could see.:bang:
I can probably get the guys at Napa to match them up.
If I've got to wait for the intake gasket, I may as well order a new valve cover gasket, pcv valve and grommet.
Top access doesn't get much better than it is right now.
The FSM recommends removing the throttle cable, but the intake can be pivoted up and wedged against the hood.
I'm actually tackling the injectors tomorrow.
