Yes. There's been more than one post about it. While it's good to see TRD paying a little attention to the LC it left me wondering if the engineers at TRD forgot themselves a bit. As I've said previously it looks like they went shopping at Pep Boys instead of improving upon the LC. Others noted that the components like the unique looking sliders seemed to be designed with accruing body damage in mind. It goes without saying that the "guard" on the front bumper (often referred to as a "damage multiplier") is feckless. But then again, it does have a 21st century snorkel and nice TRD emblems embroidered in the leather.

I like the exhaust tip

The tires are pretty too... for 20s.

I think I'm in love...
2016 SEMA TRD Land Cruiser

Yes.

Apparently, "SEMA" Edition now stands for...

PS... That little fender-bump in stop-and-go traffic that just leaves a little scuff?
-Now it's a $399 LED light replacement... ;)

I guess I've been living in SoCal too long. That mall cruiser looks pretty nice to me. Definitely dig that color, but OMG those rear seat video screens! Why?

Mr. poopy-pants (me) is about to be poopy... ;)

I agree that it LOOKS nice.

But when you present something as though it's for off-roading...the additions should be overwhelmingly related to assisting you in that endeavor.

If you add "metal things" to the bumper...they should serve SOME sort of helpful purpose. The metal tubes on the front protect from NOTHING...not even brush...and in fact CREATE additional damage if they bump anything.

The light placement? Even a tiny bump in stop-and-go traffic will destroy those LED lights and cause additional damage to the bumper.

The running boards? They look like sliders...but instead of protecting the vehicle by supporting its weight over boulders...the only "sliding" will be passengers who slide off of its rounded edge. While that could be said of real sliders (rounded edge for passenger slippage), at least real rock sliders serve their purpose of vehicle protection.

The tail pipe?
-All that does when off-roading is cause additional damage when departure angles are cut even further and you not only scrape off those pipes...but crush them into your bumper at the same time.

20 inch wheels off-roading only means that you scrape up your fancy wheels instead of letting taller sidewalks grip and handle the abuse.

If they called it "Mall Edition" it would be great!

But they stuck a SNORKEL on it! ?..meaning this is presented as an off-road vehicle. Snorkels help your intake deal with dirty, dusty roads...and the occasional prevention of catastrophic damage from water crossing. Yay for the snorkel! The rest? About as useful as a stickers on a banana seat bike. :)))

OK. I shall try to stop being poopy. :)))

It is a show vehicle....only. the " sliders " look nice. The wheels "look" nice. Grill/radiator destroyer is a pretty color. The snorkel is the funniest part of the whole thing.

The only thing I would spring for are those wheels, in stock size. Any idea who makes them?

They are made by HRE. I don't think they make them in 18s. I'll be trying them with 20s, but a lil more rubber on them.
