Has anyone mounted an air tank?

Just wanted to see if anyone has put an air tank somewhere under the 200 (not inside vehicle). I searched and saw that @crazy1323 put in a 1 gallon tank on rear passenger side, but there wasn't any pictures or details of the tank brand. Any others here put one in?

I assume you mean in conjunction with an on-board compressor...

What functionality are you hoping to enable with use of the tank?

Yes, I have a compressor and planning to install soon. For now, just air tools and miscellaneous things, but maybe lockers down the road.

When my ARB twin compressor went in, Slee talked me out of a tank, saying that it still won't be enough for tools...because a gallon really isn't enough build-up. Twin compressors will fill your tires pretty quickly & easily handle lockers...but my understanding is air tools aren't going to do well.

If you really want to run air tools regularly...have you considered a PowerTank product? They have more than enough high/instant pressure for air tools...

Thanks Markuson. I have the ARB twin compressor, so it seems as though I may be wasting my time and money if Slee talked you out of it. Just thought I'd knock it out while I'm working on it. But, I don't plan on using a bunch of tools. Just have an air wrench for the wheels and a few other small tools. If it doesn't do the job down the road, I'll look into PowerTank. Thanks.
