Has anyone made their own Sushi....?

My wife is the same. Any recipes? or just google it :)

We pretty much just make stuff up depending on what we have in the fridge. Most things we make have some ratio of the following ingredients:

Asparagus
Avocado
Cucumber
Crab
cream cheese
Tomato
Onions
Smoked eel
Smoked Salmon

We just throw some sticky sushi rice together with some rice? vinegar and some "sushi spice" stuff we get at an asian market. Then we make rolls with whatever we're in the mood for, with or without seaweed wrap using a bamboo roller wrapped in saran wrap. After you roll it, keep the whole thing wrapped in saran wrap and cut through the roll but not through part of the outer saran wrap layer. This allows the end of the saran wrap to be intact so you can remove it in one piece and have nicely sliced rolls.

You can also buy this thin asian batter mix at most grocery stores and dip the rolls in it and fry them.

Sometimes my wife puts hard boiled eggs in her sushi rolls, so you can really put anything in it that like.
