Anyone made their own hard top visor? They seem to be rare to find online. Mine is toast. I've been noodling on what it would take to make one. It seems the curve of the top is the hardest part to get right. Otherwise it's some sheet metal and cutting and notching. Then rivet or bond to the top. With my (lack of) skills, it might take me a bit to get close, but what the heck.

post up in the wanted section.
They come up once in a while.
You might stir someone up to go out to the garage and dig.
I have one with a rusted end, waiting for one to come along to mate to it.

Thanks, I think I'll go that route. I saw one on Cruiser Corps web site, but it looks about the same as mine - rusted on one end. After looking at it more carefully, I'm thinking that fabing one would be a challenge for my skills and tools. Either I find a good used one in the wanted section, or consider the 2 piece version from cool cruisers.

The Cool Cruiser one in two pieces, is probably just for shipping. As long as it matches what you have and you can not find a used one, it may be the way to go.
I used the entire gutter kit a few years ago and it worked out great. I had an old one to use as a template.
Which end do you need? I can check mine and see if we have a match and go from there. If you are going to have to weld anyway. @Healey

Mine is rusted on the right (pass side). Although, the whole thing looks like it's pretty badly surface corroded and weak. I'm starting to think the cool cruisers one might be a better long term solution. New metal.

Go with the CC is probably best, but still check or post in classified section. Let me know what you do and I might want a section of yours to add to mine.
