Thank you sir!

Thanksgiving. What's it mean?
I've been hit by a car, had a lemon-sized tumor removed from my pituitary gland, had bacterial meningitis, 8+/- surgeries to replace eroded bone behind my sinuses, 8+/- surgeries regarding VP Shunts. A handful of infections of bacteria and even mold in my Cerebral-spinal Fluid. It's been quite a ride.
I give thanks daily, for life. But on this day, I take a little while to reflect back to the previous year and give great thanks to all the people and situations that have me where I am this holiday Thanksgiving. This ride isn't over, so I give thanks for patience, because without learned patience, I would not be able to endure the health process. I give thanks to family, the people I share heart, blood and soul with. I give thanks to friends, the ones who don't care where I am, they come to my aide. I give thanks to my job, they provide me with a fun environment while also allowing me to get paid for it.
I give thanks to all the above for allowing me to be the person I am at this moment.
That's MY thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving ya'll!
