We meet at Cars and Coffee around 8

@wuagon, check with @Teddy in UC,
He just had his 80 box rebuilt.

I'm not gonna be able to make it to the HAMOM! My cousin gave us 7 tickets to the UNC game, so the family is heading to Chapel Hill tomorrow. I hate that I'm gonna miss it, but I'll catch everyone next time hopefully! Y'all have fun without me!!

is there anyone local or near that can rebuild an 60 power steering gear box???
Send it to West Texas Off-road. You'll get the owner on the phone when you call. I think it's $160 to rebuild it. You can ship it out in a 5 gallon bucket for about $80. They'll have it done and back to you in a week or so. They charge about $40 to ship it back. Marshall is sending his boxes here now too, I believe.

Enjoyed meeting @JToobe, and thanks for the mudship. We met a 60 owner at CCC ('85 I think) who has owned it since he was 18. Great weather at David's for truss building, though the turn-out was a little light. @TailsWCU came by to say hello and let us know he's still around. I was slack and didn't make any pics.
Next meeting...Christmas parade. :santa:

Here's a pic at the C&C of the 60 owned by the guy whose dad bought it for him in 93 for $4,500! He recently had it repainted and new chrome trim, etc.

Solid!!!

With that truss design do you need to have a load bearing wall under the middle of the truss?

Not everything needs to be over-engineered like moonshine. This is the lowcountry, no chance of added weight of snow for a low pitch roof. Heck, you ought to see the pitch of the roof of his parents garage!

I looked at some designs online and they all looked similar,.
It's going to have a metal roof, so no big loads on it.
I hope to get the others done this week, then build some walls this weekend.

Finished the trusses this morning.
I have some tree trimming to do this week before I start moving the old roof. I may not get to it , but I'll at least get it ready to move.

does anyone know of a good place in mount pleasant that has power washers? i need to spray the bottom of my cruiser but need something with a little bit of power.
