Great looking at the pics let me know if you have these, rear hatch support ( looked like there was only one ) ?, the inside cover for the rear hatch ?, cig lighter on the dash ?, its this going to have to be smoged ? with the new motor alot of the old gas line vent crap could be eliminate alot of that and clean it up. Just throwing that out there. :grinpimp:

I have both rear hatch supports for him. That being said they will need a little polishing.

Shane,

Pretty sure I have a heater core that you can have. It will take a few days but I will check and get back to you.

What ever I can get.

Look into it and see if its clear, if a little crusty I can CLR it and back wash it a few times.

Thanks

I'll post more tomorrow when I'm not typing on phone but I received a PM from Jim Downey and he is on board!

I'll work on getting an updated parts list together but it will be an appx list as many are still looking for stuff they think they have.

The one thing I haven't seen yet is a lift to allow us to run 33s. The 40 currently has some scarry long lift shackles.

Well, I canceled my other plans for the weekend of MLK and plan on joining you guys!! Really looking forward to it as this is a really worth while cause:cheers: You guys can assign me to whatever group needs more people, I can do it all as long as shoes aren't required!

It looks like you guys have sourced a top notch bench seat and I have mine if worse comes to worst but other than that I still have the headliner and visors which looks like they are still needed. Also if you guys need my aftermarket roll bar just let me know.

keep up the good work

Hello All,
I continue to be amazed at the kindness and generosity of everyone as I watch this event grow. If you ask my family, friends, and students, they will all tell you that I am rarely, if ever, speechless. But I find myself just that, speechless.
Yesterday, Jared and I completed the engine removal. We also removed the first layer of dirt. (We ran out of daylight.)
Thank you everyone. My home will always be open to ya'll.

I have a complete heater with the core inside, I will tear it apart to see if the core is any good and get back to you. Pm me with your address for shipping.

Thanks
Brian

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!! (Here and my first post in the thread too.)

We are only a couple of weeks away. Thanks to everyone for their support!

If you have contacted me about donating parts and have not shipped them yet please ship them to as soon as you can to me @

I'll post up hopefully tomorrow a summary of what I have received. So far is is running boards and hoses - I'll include names too but for the time being thanks to everyone who has shipped parts and those who have promised to ship parts!

Also, we are working on accommodations.

We have primitive camping on site at the Reeves residence but I figure it will be pretty chilly.

Marriott is also working with us to provide hotel rooms at a discounted rate. There is a Marriott 9 miles away in Athens where we can get rooms for $39/night. I'll post up more info soon.

There is also a Marriott literally around the corner from the Reeves residence. We are working on getting rooms there also - BUT - we need for y'all to post up if you will want a room there and for which nights so we can get the best rates from Marriott.

THANKS!!!

sent the 4-speed clutch fork and hub as well as some misc rubber pieces that may come handy

**the hub itself does need a new bearing**

I sent out three boxes this morning to you. All flat rate and one your postal guy will be pist about.

I have the seats tightly packed in a box, waiting for parts to open to see what they will do to help out on shipping. It's a tad heavy.
