Half off sale at the Pick N Pull off of Groveport road this weekend (former U-Wrench-It). Kind of stinks, since I was just there last weekend, bought some stuff, and they gave me a coupon book good for like 30% off of something, 50% off something else, blah, blah... But the book says it expires after this weekend, and it is no good on sale days. WTF?

Oh well...think I'll go anyway and try to find a good bench seat candidate for the rear of the 40.

Nah, they never have any Toyota stuff. I think there was one 2wd mini-truck. Damn reliable toyotas! Everyone is still driving theirs!

Marty,
When you were at UWI or whatever, did they have any Toyota 4WD stuff?

Well, I finally saw something 4wd & Toyota at the UWI today. An 87 cargo van.:D (I am assuming no, but it had manual aisin hubs on the front..those aren't interchangeable with anything are they? IFS on the van). Also, I saw an IFS Isuzu Rodeo with manual Aisin hubs. I've just seen that around on the boards here and didn't really know what I was looking at to be honest.

I picked up a rear fold and tumble bench from a Suzuki sidekick, and a Taurus E-fan for the heck of it. Only problem is the sidekick bench used shoulder belts, and they would have looked goofy in the 40. I need to find some simple lap belts I can make work with it.

:bounce:

The aisin hubs off the IFS minitruck and van are the same as the Aisin hubs on 79-90 Land Cruiser, except for the spline count on the inner spline.

I could use some shiny, never banged into rocks hubs to put my old clutch rings into.

Can you use an original Cruiser rear jumpseat lap belt for the Suzuki rear seat?

Maybe? The Sidekick seat is set up for two lap belts. The...um.."receptacle" piece is already part of the seat. The actual belts and roller pieces were attached to the Suzuki tub.
