Is there such a thing as an adapter for an H55 to an NP or Dana transfer case or are those of you running centered rear axles also running an American transmission/ transfer case combo?

Sell the H55, purchase rebuilt NV4500 and put whatever T-case you want on it.

Not suppose to let the cat out of the bag, Kyle at northwestfab is sending the first prototype next week for some testing.

You can adapt the black box, dana, NP and split case I believe......
