Wheels: Stock 17"
Tires: LT255/80-17 Toyo AT II
Spacers: None
Lift: OME 2.5"
Other Mods: Front / Rear metal tech bumper, rock sliders, mile marker winch.

Does this tire size/wheel combination fit in the spare tire location? I have read conflicting accounts if it fits or not.

No. I tried stuffing one in and I am short about 3/4-1" I have compact hitch and KDSS so it might fit non KDSS.

The one I read fit on 5th gen 4runner with cooper ST MAXX. That tire must run small. People also say they do not notice power drop with that tire while I definitely notice power drop as the gear always shift down with slightest incline. My highway MPG drop from 18 to 16 corrected also.

.

Here’s a ST Maxx 255/80, no KDSS but with factory hitch. Tire is about 32.75”

That is encouraging.
I am getting GX460 KDSS RSB. They seems to have much more clearance. Hopefully they fit.

Well I just wasted some $$ buying used GX460 KDSS RSB. It does not really fit.
First it's 30 mm diameter VS 33 for GX470.

The fixed side link location move outboard 1.5-2".i can make it for but require moving the bushing stopper to the outside.

The bend does not show much difference.

255/80 Cooper St Maxx.
OME lift in the mail from Rocky Road....super slow shipping. Been over a month now.
Hey any rubbing at all with the stock height? How does it drive down the road, does it grab the grooves at all? Am considering this size also, have run that Cooper tire before also and like them.

I was very surprised 33.1" Toyo Open Country II on stock wheels and suspension fit at stock height with zero rubbing. I did already move the front wheel liner forward a bit and remove the running boards.
What size?

Whats everyone's option on Dobinsons vs Old man emu kit for a 2.5 lift? It seems the Old man emu is around 1000 and Dobinsons are more like 1700. Is there a preference amongst anyone here?

Rear coil spring converted by PO using Strutmaster kit.
I added 1.5" Strut top spacer temporarily while saving for proper lift kit later. The picture above is before Strut spacer.

Dobinsons have the same kit as Nitrocharger OME. The $1700 is remote reservoir Monotube that is much higher performance. Ironman have a couple kit also ranging from $8xx to $15xx.

Oh duh. I just noticed your file name. Sorry. Great to know though! Have you had a chance to flex and see if they catch anywhere?

What would be the recommended OME front coils?
