Hi All,

Question for those that have done this. My '07 txfr case rear output seal was starting to leak so I got a new one from the dealer and replaced the old one. Part #9031141020. The parts diagram says (front) in the description, but it's for sure the right one fo the rear and you can clearly see it in the diagram.

Now, the old one I pulled out was red in color and the outer rim of the seal was maybe half as thick as the mating surface of the hole it filled. The new seal was black and it is much thicker (depth) and had like two ridges (rings) I was only able to get it in as far as the second ring. Maybe like 2mm ended up above the mating surface. It didn't sit flush, life everything said it should. I even got a 2in pipe to properly and evenly hammer it in. It is uniformly sticking out.

Any thoughts on this? I'm watching it to see if it's leaking, but it looks fine - and man did I really try and pound it in there. I was worried I was going to deform it.

thanks,
dave
