Wow that is a clean looking GX for the age and mileage! I just sold my GX recently for a 100 (so not interested in buying) but I'm curious what the cause was for needing an engine replacement?

The previous owner (doctor) had lent the truck to his son who drove it from Flagstaff to Phoenix with a coolant leak. The engine had overheated and warped the heads. The doctor basically turned the truck over to a local Lexus mechanic. As thing worked out at 2006 GX was brought to the dealership after being T-boned. The mechanic pulled the engine from this 60K 2006 GX donor and installed it in the 04 GX body. The truck runs strong. No warning lights. I'm averaging better than 17MPG. So why sell it? During my search for the GX, I had wanted KDSS and could not find one in decent shape. There are arguments for and against KDSS, which are well documented -- to each his own. I have found an 07 sport model. Both are great trucks, but I can't justify keeping two.

It is available. Lots of inquiries, but no one has pulled the trigger yet. It really drives well. Third row seats are not available, although my experience is that there are a lot of sets out there that people don't use.
