Has the Timing Belt/Water pump been changed? Are there any cracks under that dash pad?

Yes, the timing belt and the water pump were done at 90k. Complete dealer service history is available to anyone interested.
Yes, unfortunately the dash does have cracks in it under the cover.
Also replaced the seal in the transfer case actuator (Common problem on the GX) and replaced the rear drive shaft that the previous owner failed to get replaced under warranty. The new drive shaft solved the clunk/thunk issue and is smooth as new now.
