if I was in the market for a new pistol Id pick up this FN Herstal five seven. this thing is bad ass, accurate 100+ yards iron sights.

Have any of you black gub enthusiasts seen or know anything about the Beowulf Entry? It's a .50 cal upper on an AR-15 platform.

This warrants some research, but I am guessing it has a separate magwell since there is NO way a .50 cal is going up thru the. 223 standard mag location.

Edit: after looking it over I stand corrected. Looks very similar to the SOCOM round. After looking at both I think I would lean toward the SOCOM over the Beowulf.
