Long story short: renters moving out, new renters wanting to move in ASAP. Could use some grunt work to knock out the easy stuff sometime around September 29th-ish hopefully.

Grunt work includes but is not limited to...

-Ripping out carpeting (free to whomever or its going to dump, several big chunks, not too bad of shape just stains in walkways)

-Patching small sheet rock holes.

-Painting interior walls/masking windows (most of them need to be redone, 2 renters ago were some VERY dirty hippies with emphasis on DIRTY HIPPIES)

-Yard work...redoing borders, raking, pulling weeds, mowing, hosing off outside spiderwebs, resetting border bricks, leaf blowing etc.

Could be one day worth of work, could be multiple depending on how things go. Pay is $10/hour under the table. Bring your own lunch.
House is located in East Medford, 1500 square feet on 1/4 of an acre so you know what we're dealing with. I will finalize the date when we get closer. Good work for teens/kids looking for some extra dough. You can drop them off and then pick them up later, just ignore the whip marks on their back. :flipoff2:

I so would be there. Sounds like a great time! but alas I will be wheeling :flipoff2:

I may know of a grunt that could help.

Got a line on at least one or two willing for the job. Let me know more details will you get it figured out.

So, confirmed. 2 young strapping HS boys for you. (read they are in HS so no shenanigans and weekends only).

They need gas money. (one is the boychild of a close friend).

Cool so since they are underage they'll just wanna be paid in beer right?

Looks like this is definitely happening the 29th and some on the 30th. Ty, could you send me phone numbers. Probably starting at 9am the 29th, but I will call them the day before to confirm... does anyone have any hook ups in the carpet business??? We gotta do the whole house and right now we'd just be using a friend of a friend.

Will do.

Doubt it will help, but you can check with No Frills Flooring. Talk to Ryan, tell him Tyler from Helix (computer guy) sent you. No promises on discount/hookup/pricing though.

Just a thought- the floating floors like pergo aren't too expensive and don't soak up the nasty stuff like carpet- The right stuff lasts a long time..

Yeah it has some in it and they really have held up well. Problem is matching the new stuff to the old or ripping it all out and starting over. I don't have the time to mess with it and it's kinda a shame to take out good stuff. I got a quote of $1500 to redo the existing carpet so I'm gonna go for that. Next time it has to be done I will definitely yank the old pergo and do all the halls kitchen dining room and possibly the living room in it.
Ty: my hookup is Ryan at no frills flooring. He used to be my boss at ups way back when.
