Hello from Sacramento.
I took my FJ on a fun adventure a few weeks back. We went down Barney-Riley road to the E Fork of the Carson River - this is near Tahoe, on the CA/NV border. Our egress route was a trickier road, though - we took a jeep road out that descends Leviathan Creek canyon. At one point the two tracks from jeeps disappeared into the creek - the other side contained only one track (from bikes, I assume). We made it out, but it was pretty hairy.
The guy on the BMW had a hard time with the cobbles and ruts - guess this bike is better suited for deserts.
The FJ was awesome (duh).
After the trip I found that I have a need for a new side-mirror on the passenger side. The one it came with still works (duct tape) - including the light. I guess that one tree got a little too close.
Any ideas on replacement mirrors? I.e., should I go to the dealer and get an OEM mirror, is self-install an option, are there alternative mirrors out there, etc.?
I have to admit that the battle-scar effect is kinda cool, but eventually I need a new mirror.

Thanks and nice meeting you all - Greg
