So what's the difference between the `blue' and `green' EGR modulators other than the top sticker color?

Seriously do not know what the design difference is but the blue top is the newer part that took the place of the older green one. I think the blue top is also used in other cruisers (60's ? not sure) but anyway the green top is prone to failure at the diaghram IIRC.
