I just bought a 03' Tundra TRD 4.7 with 110k on it. I've owned many Toys but this is my first Tundra. What items should have already been serviced, (I know nothing about this trucks history), what things should I check out, and is there a normal life expectancy on the trucks timing belt. Help me out here, thanks

The timing belt change is recommended at 90k. IIRC, the 4.7L V8 is an interference engine, so you don't want that belt to go. Not sure what other things specific to the 03 Tundra would be. tundrasolutions.com would be better help here.

Rule of thumb with all vehicles at 100k w/an unkown history is to replace all the fluids. Gear oil, engine oil, tranny fluid, brake fluid, rad fluid, power steering fluid, etc. Replace the plugs (and check them for wear), fuel filter, and air filter. Like was said, see if the timing belt was changed. If you have the time and the $, have the injectors cleaned and blueprinted (about $25 each through RC Engineering). Heck, you might ass well put new brake pads on there:D

After all that she will run like a champ!
