Hey guys,
Hey guys,
I have a 1980 BJ41 JDM Cruiser with a 3.2 B model diesel.
While recently replacing the diaphragm, which we all love so much, I noticed that the diaphragm spring had three shims present. Everything I have seen says none or one.
So the question is; has anybody ever seen multiple shims, or three? Who know what was going on in the 45 years of people monkeying with this vehicle. Wonder if somebody was compensating for a degrading diaphragm or something else?
Thanks!
