and I wanted to thank Jimmy for the most excellent writeup!

I remember him telling me that he had submitted something, but after some time I had forgotten all about it. I got home today and immediately tore into the new Trails. I normally read Trails front to back in one sitting, so imagine my surprise when I am about halfway through the issue and I turn the page and see Mike and Onur looking up at me from the pages! I look a little closer and there I am between them. Cool! The article was well written and Jimmy's brother Tom captured the event with great photos.

I proofed it 50 times.:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Thanks Clint for the good review. My bro did an excellent job I must say.

BTW, the tranny is fixed.
I'm wheel'in on the Sept 9th event but will probably not camp.

Loved the writeup, great job Jimmy. Its great to open a national mag and see people that you know. Its also great to see how much this club has grown in the last few years, lets keep it moving in this direction.

I'm still working on the truck family came in this weekend and cut short the time. All welded up just need to drill and bolt it all back together. Oh yea and fix the brake line, just the slightest touch with a grinder has a bad effect on brake lines. But I am off work Friday so hope to make it for a day of wheeling no camping.

Ditto's on Jimmy Rocks!

Excellent article and the clubs growth is largly due to Jimmy and Clints actions and enthusiasm. Thanks guys!

Thanks guys. But in my mind I have not really done anything.

Update on wheelin. I have obligations that I'm overextended on and will not be going wheelin this weekend.

Have fun.

I don't have my toyota yet but looking forward to reading it.

I am not wheeling this weekend, sorry. Instead I am going to Speedrome for the 3 hour figure 8 world championships! http://www.speedrome.com

Geez. I would love to see that article but I accidently let my TLCA membership lapse I think. Does anyone know if I renew now, will they send me this issue?

If you ask them to- they will. Happened to me last year.

Ditto Clint's comments.

I forgot that Jimmy had written this up (hell, he called me for name verification...) and I too was sitting and reading this and low and behold, the IN crew with a couple of OH misfits!!

Man, I remember that storm like it was yesterday--probably the scariest/most enjoyable experience in a long time.

Great job again Jimmy and the IN crew. Hopefully Timmy and I will be out for TFT's in early December....

BEst regards.
