Just got my AFE Exhaust today - it is still in the box but it is sweet... Can't wait to hear it.

I'm thinking of buying one and a CAI. Let us know what the mileage increase is please. I think I already know what the performance will be- NICE!50$ says it sounds exactly like the trd? Who's wagein?

You will definitely lose your $50.
This is 3" exhaust system.
AFE doe's not make the TRD exhaust, but they do make the TRD CAI.
God, I EVEN HATE TO RAISE THE ISSUE-or I'll be called a"debater" again.....but, I hope you love that AFE SYSTEM WHEN INSTALLED. I went with some full length(long tube) headers, and kept the TRD 2 1/2" exhaust pipe.Huge improvement over the stock manifolds....but I'm told that the TRD should be replaced with a 3".I have a 2 1/2" "custom "y" piece(where the 2 into 1 section is pipe fitted , not pinched together)and then the TRD FROM THAT POINT BACK.As is, the exhaust (tail pipe) section gets REALLY HOT now comparitively(from before the headers were installed), this leads me to believe, as I have been told by several performance exhaust specialists, that I need to have more diameter in my tailpipe section. My intake is 3"tube staight into the throttle body(stock box removed) from a cabin air feed. The Spectre long cone filter, has a 2 1/2" cold air penetrator, feeding the end of the cone, in a boxed CAI ENCLOSURE isnstalled on the right fender well. The seemingly high rise in exhaust pipe temp leads me to believe that I NEED TO RAISE the exhaust pipe diameter to 3". I could probably just install a cherry bomb....but have been advised by others(who do this for a living-2 of which are "racing"oriented shops) to go 3" straight back.IDGASWNHBS.
