Love it, toyed with it last night for a bit. Going to pull a code of my ford then give it to my dad for his mustang because his tac and fuel gauge doesn't work on his 5.0

Love mine, been using one for about a year. Don't think I could live without it.

Just recalibrated the distance and MPG since installing the bigger tires.

What's crazy is that I am still getting the same mileage with 35's as I did with 31's. Basically if I drive the same way I did I lose 1 MPG, if I slow down a little it doesn't change. Man I love my Tacoma. 19 mpg with 35's!:bounce2::steer:

Yeah think I'll buy another or ask my wife for it for Christmas, like I said I will be giving this to my old man when I get up to blythewood Saturday night

Still got mine after a year now......recalibrate for tires.....did it again after new gears but no change.....calibrate for fuel and tank size...use it all the time.

Need to see if they have updated software and whether I can download it. :)

I think Ron had that. Trying to be like Brock. Sad.
I don't see the purpose of these. Explain the benefits please. It would only tick me off more knowing my actual true mpg.

michael michael michael.....lets you calibrate for correct speedometer when you put on bigger tires....shows you water temp....mileage...fuel consumption....% of load your vehicle is working...temp of air going into your intake...and a bunch of other things I dont track like O2 sensor temps and such.

I love it...

I use it for 2 things.

1: Proper speed for larger than stock tires.
2: An exact distance until my tank is empty since I travel a lot.

It is also nice while towing a boat or trailer to be able to find the sweet spot while towing. No sense in driving under the speed limit if it will only cost .5 MPG to drive over it.:meh:

Just set up first page to show MPH, RPM, load, engine temp, ambient temp. You can also show voltage and tons of other stuff. The point is to know what your vehicle is doing, the MPG isn't really one I'm worried about but it isn't a bad idea to set up a page that shows you MPG load, engine temp, intake temp, haven't found if it has tranny temp yet but all that or towing or even crawling....

every year vehicle will have different options available....there are over 70 displays on the device but your OBD II setup is what limits what you can read and display. I think 32 come on with the 2000 LX.

What's the name of this device?

Ultra-Gauge, yeah the '01 has 47

yeah....well my truck has this paper clip thingy that you jump out two ports underneath the hood and it makes the engine shaped light on the dash board blink a bunch of times if there is a problem.....
then you get to look it up in this really cool book that tells you what all the different blinky things mean.....so its way better...

:muttering: stupid no OBDII truck..

How about the scan gauge? A lot of people use it but I think what y'al have looks much nicer.
The Ultra-gauge is only like $65 right now and the scan gauge is A LOT more expensive.

Only reason I have UltraGuage instead of ScanGuage is the price....it was significantly cheaper so for $58 I figured if it lasted one year it was worth it. It is a bit of a pain in ass if you get the rebate and stuff to do what they say for it to happen.

ScanGuage is likely better device all around....in build quality and options...I just went cheap. Saw it advertised during Mecum Auto Auctions. :)

Yeah price was the reason I went with the ultra gauge, very pleased. It is nice to know what your vehicle is actually doing. Id recommend it to anyone with OBD II, now can help ya if you only have OBD I. Looks like if I ever buy an 80 I'll have to get a 97

The scan gauge looks Ike crap. They need to redesign it.

Yeah I really like the look of the ultra gauge, low profile pretty much can put it anywhere
