Same deal as when we did Rowler Flats earlier E.

Call Ron Kibbe ( Contact H 805-933-2206 )

let him know you'd like to tag along.

Technically, it's our Christmas party, but I asked of I could let you all know and was granted permission if we follow the simple rules and use common sense like usual.

Hope to see you, there's a caravan heading out of Santa Paula around 8 AM down the 126.

well you guys missed out.
We had snow and some hail.
I was cooking taco's, the carnitas, carne asada, and chicken varieties with local avocado's, and all the trimmings.

We had a huge bon fire, and went playing on the hills for a couple hours.

We started up on the Gorman side, traversed the ridge in some pretty dense fog and then came down near lake Hughes.

it was 47 degrees when we left, 37 up at 5300' where I was cooking lunch.

Now that is a talented chef who can keep Carne Asada cooked well, and served warm when it is 37*! Oh, I second Pics please!

here they are, sorry for the delay.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

I'm not in the group shot...too busy with the carnitas!

But I'm the tail gunner in the snow shot.
Who's jealous now?:D

first pic was about a mile from Bear Campground towards the lake Hughes side.
the snow was better the lower we went, guess the cold air drops thing is for real.

Went through that area yesterday, way more snow now.
