Goodbye Woodgrain Trim

Since recently picking up the GX, I never liked the woodgrain trim. Yes, yes, it's a Lexus, I get it, and was targeted towards soccer moms and trips to the jewelry store. I had some extra vinyl wrap laying around the garage so I said to myself, let's give this a try. It's not perfect, but I also didn't pay a professional hundreds to lay the wrap either. I think it compliments the silver exterior and the gray leather.

I am tempted to do a wrap on mine as well. But that would also mean a steering wheel swap and thats the part I am not sure about...

I liken the wood trim to the chrome window trim. Both need to go.

So what I did with the steering was buy a steering wheel cover. I wanted to preserve the steering wheel anyways and it covered the wood grain.
