Did you do the brakes yet, need to order some wheel cylinders and wanted to confirm if yours were correct that you got from Kurt.

Nope. They are correct for what I ordered.

I went with 1 1/8” fronts and 7/8” rear like a 40 series instead of 1 1/8” in the rear. Seeing it will run unloaded all the time I am hoping that will keep the rears from locking up.

Did 45s normally come with 1 1/8 in the rear?

My friend picked a sweet parts pig today and we found this in the glove box

I finally found a suitable replacement for my front bumper on the Goat

I banged out some dents and popped it on.

That bumper looks right at home on the Goat......

Nice bumper, perfect match. Wonder if it has a twin?

Not from the person I got mine from but if you are looking I’ll keep my eyes out

Had mostly a great drive in the Goat today.

I turned it off at the gas station and smelled fuel bad so I popped the air cleaner off and gas was dumping out of this hole on the side of the carburetor and the glass window was full of gas.

I ended up banging on the side of the carburetor with a ball peen (Toyota brand) until the fuel stopped swirling out.

See hole where screwdriver points

Not sure what to do now that it is “fixed”

Can someone tell me what was going on?

Sight window was 100% full too.

Now it’s back to 3/4 full like it always has been

Sounds like the float was stuck in the open position filling the fuel bowl until it was running out that hole. It must have been the Toyota ball peen that did the trick. But really, it could be a piece of debris that made it past the filter.

Anything I should do? I’m not carb smart at all.

Did you ever pull the top of the carb off? If not, it could be full of crap from sitting so long. Not too complicated of a task.

Yeah carb was rebuilt by @JasonH and it runs like butter.

Had to have been some trash.

So that hole is not part of the inner workings of the carb intake it?

Full window must have been my clue bowl was stuck?
