This unit was removed years ago by a Toyota tech after the piggyback controllers went out. He held on to in until I bought it with plans to install it on our '04 GX470. We have since decided to sell the GX and focus on our 80 series. My first choice would be to trade this for a 1FZ-FE TRD supercharger, but I know that is a long shot so it is for sale as well.
Other than the controller it was fully operational when removed from an '02 Sequoia at 105k miles. My tech friend wasn't sure if it was installed when the Sequoia was new or if it was later.
I'm far from a supercharger guru but I do know that there are good options available to replace the missing piggyback controllers. Many people run a Unichip piggyback controller and consider it an upgrade to the older tech TRD controllers. The latest development is that there are tuners who can reprogram a factory ECU to take advantage of the supercharger. After the ECU is re-flashed the 9th injector is no longer needed, making it a cleaner, simpler installation. I traded a few messages with one of the tuners who came highly recommended. His name is Brandon Elzner of Quantum Tuning. You send him your 2001-up ECU, pay the $450 fee, and they send it back in about 5 days fully programmed. My thinking was that I would pick up a spare ECU for a couple of hundred and have it programmed to reduce down time.

At this point I am not willing to ship. It is available for pickup in North Georgia, or I will consider traveling to meet if my schedule permits. I will be on the road a good bit over the next few weeks and months to Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and possibly up the Missouri valley to North Dakota.
My preference is to trade for a 1fz-fe supercharger. Will sell for $6000 cash.
