I'm considering re-gearing my 80 series. The job is over my head. I'm looking for a trusted shop. Close to STL would be nice but with family in the KC area I could probably work something out. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jason

Are you planning on pulling the diffs and carrying them in or are you looking for someone to do the entire job? In the KC area, Ron Istas is one of the best, but you'll need to pull the diffs and take them to him.

Theres a place called Custom Differentals ( 573 483 3343 ) just south of you in Bloomsdale Mo. They build alot of mud trucks and whatnot. I think they also have a web page ( I remember looking at it a couple of years ago ), that lists events, races etc. Al

About 90 minutes from me.

Also found a few articles from 4x4 mags calling them the "axle gurus of the US". I'd never heard of them. Sounds like they outta be able to handle it.
