Gear Grinders Saves the day and Bank account.

Long story short Timing Belt went out in my 100 while driving back from Folks in Mobile area. Quote was Broken timing belt and they suggested new Motor. 7gs. Spoke to a few people and got great advise from @Land Speeder to get it to Bham and to Gear Grinders asap. They put on new timing belt kit and checked the internal and all good. Drove it home yesterday and drives like a dream. I recommend if you need anything done outside the realm of your abilities of wrenching to give them a call. Also i got lucky that nothing else was broken so get timing belt done. I was told by previous owner it was done. Im leaning toward that not being the truth.

Also I'd love to make a meeting one day. Any way they ever get moved off the third Thursday? Literally the only thing I have on calendar every month is that day. And I'm in for the wrenching day. Id love to help out where I can and learn some things.

There's never a single monthly time to fit everyone's schedule, but that was the time that most could do it when we started and we've tried to stay consistent after trying different times, days, and locations. We'll have the monthly brewery tour meetups coming back after taking the summer off, holiday parties, monthly rides and frequent wrenching days. All are posted here and the facebook page.
