Anybody running a Garmin Quest 2? Is this the one that fits in the drivers glove box on the 07-9 fj? Im looking for a good gps just for offroading?

Garmin 76CSX
Yeah, I got one. It spends more time acquiring satellites than watching the road. My iPhone does a better job.
got a 76CSX.....update the system software and get an external antenna... that worked great for me
The Quest 2 has a reputation for being SLOW. You're better off going with most any other Garmin product.
I've got the Nuvi 750 - it's a slick unit. However it's oriented towards on road directions and PoI's. For offroad I still use a good topo map and compass.

I have the dash mounted Garmin.........
The Pro's include:
Unit, receiver and speaker are hardwired,
The Garmin is easily removed, making it portable,
If you get the windshield mount and charger, it can also go from car to car,
In-Dash Pop-up feature makes it go away when it is not in use, which is great for security,
While it is in use in dash, it is directly in the driver's field of vision.
The only Con that I have is:
When the unit is in use in-dash, the screen is alittle small and hard to see; after all, it is 36 or so inches away with the seat in it's rear most position.
Overall, i would still recomend it............gm
