Hi all.
I have a 2002 FZJ105R with a 1FZ-Fe 4.5lt petrol engine.
I'm trying to identify which engine it is.
The car is at the mechanics, and has a dead injector, otherwise I'd crawl under it and read the serial to check myself.

However, the injectors in it appear to be from an 80 series - they are significantly fatter, and are pink.
The ones listed on partsouq.com, and other places, for my VIN number, are green, and slim in comparision.

One person on a FB LC forum said that the pink ones were from an 80 series, and that the green are for the 105 series.
So, either the engine has been swapped by a PO, or someone has put in 80 series plugs.
The main difference seems to be the pink ones output 330cc of petrol, whereas the green outputs 440cc.

So, my mechanic has one green injector, and 5 pink, which I guess isn't great...
I'm short a car, so need to get it going.

What are peoples thoughts on putting the green one in, at least until I can get a set of replacements that all match, which will take around 2 weeks for some aftermarket ones.
(I cant currently afford a set of genuine ones)

Any advice appreciated.

The ones that are currently in my car are on the left.
The one I was sent to replace them is on the right, it also looks identical to the one that partsouq says matches my VIN.

Having just done this recently, I can confirm that the injector on the left (x6) was oem on my wife's 80 series. The fuel system was mucked up badly after sitting for years, so the oem injectors came out. All 6 were replaced with the green injector that you pictured on the right.
