Just installed Sonoran Steel lift with 285 BFG ATs. Now have vibe that feels like in front under truck.97 4runner. Stock wheels. Had tires road force balanced. Ver slight rub on R/F at full left turn lock. Installed 1/4 spacers,no help. Removed factory skid plate (thought rubbin bolts for diff drop). Removed diff drop,no help. Comes in about 55-60 mph then clears out a bit. Then back in about 70. Goes away again. Replaced right wheel brng. No help. Steering wheel does not shake but does vibe & can feel vibe in floor. Doesnt make any noise just vibe. Wasnt that way before lift, that I noticed anyway.

Sure sounds like a tire balance problem. The stock wheels are hub centric. The big problem when balancing them is that most places don't have the proper cone for the hub/machine. I always had a 55-60 vibe with my BFG ATs.

I have the same strange viberation on mine with a 2" spacer lift. Ran no diff drop, then added one, pulled rear shaft to inspect joints and lubed no change I guess I will try having tires rebalanced, however I have had multiple tire balancing issues with other lifted vehicles and it never felt like this, the tire issues were always felt in the steering wheel. I think the stock CV's do not like the angle, I have thought of swapping to lockout steering knuckles and hubs from a Tacoma so the shafts aren't always spinning. I am pretty sure that would fix it. Kinda pricy and sorta hard to find the parts. Also I have thought about pulling the CV's out just to see if that fixed it, however I am not sure if the wheel bearing must have the shaft through it to keep it together. I have subscribed so please let us know what you found as I don't have the time to screw with it.

Gonna guess if the wheels are balanced then your looking at inner tie-rods. Get that front end up in the air and check for steering slop by moving 'yer tires around by hand.
