Had front wheel bearings re-packed 2 weeks ago. In the process, mechanic noticed both stabilizers were missing. I had him replace them, and ever since I'm getting a slight rattle from the front end when I drive over slight bumps.
He used aftermarket parts. I don't even notice the truck handling any better. Is it possible PO removed them intentionally? Are the links integral to the life of the sway bar? I'm half way inclined to just taking the links back off. Thoughts?
