Hello ALl,

I have been searching for last couple of days but nothing is coming up on this whether it is from the ARB website or from forums.

I want to swap out the front shocks on my 2005 GX470, but want to stick with factory springs and ride height. I have no intention of lifting it as this is the family hauler/real mall crawler.

I have Nitrochargers in my 100 Series and really like them.

I tried Bilstein 5100 in my GX and not happy with the ride control. Seems to bounce all over the place when traveling at freeway speed over uneven surfaces. Very unsettling.

I have the factory air bags in the rear. These were replaced a little over a year ago so relatively fresh.

I recently bought a set of Nitrochargers for front and rear based on a 4th Gen V8 4Runner. When the fronts were to be put on, the spring perch is a little too small and will not keep the spring in place. Does this seem right or was I sent the wrong part? The box has the right part number, 93000. Did I buy the wrong part? I can't really find much information because not many are keeping the factory springs. Majority of the hits include "Lift" in it.

So was my mistake not doing the rear spring conversion when replacing the shocks with aftermarket? Is it the rear springs causing my issues?

Hoping anyone one has gone down this road and can shed some light on what may have happened.

Ok now putting on my teflon suit for any torching I may get. ;)
