Got GX470, 2007, 70,000 miles. Previous owner put Bridgestone Dueler 681 tires on at around 60,000.
So... I got them rotated at the dealer. Right away - can fill vibration in steering wheel at highway speed (65-70 mph). It got better after few hundred miles.
Now I think it is still there but not as noticeable.
Should I be concerned? Could this be sloppy job by the mechanic at the dealership? He did not put the access plate back (I had to go and ask for it) so I wonder what else could he f*** up.

what i'd do is go to a local tire shop with a modern balancing machine (hunter 9700) and have them roadforce balance all four wheels. this should solve our problem esp if you're running stock wheels with regular street tires.

i understand your frustrating. gl

should I just call the store and ask which machine they use? What if it is different brand?
It is really annoying. Should of just left things alone... Better as enemy of the good.

one of the rear was prolly out og balance & wasnt noticed until put on the front. likely nothing was done wrong. Its a good idea to have them balanced each time they are rotated. However if done with a road force they wil likely be fine jut to rotate afterwards. We have a road force at our shop & it does an awesome job. Not a lot of places in my area have one. Very expensive machine. About $10k-$12k

...and an expensive balance. $60 normal, $120 roadforce. Worth it if you need it, but I haven't yet. just had the clip weights dumped for tape weights and a normal rebalance worked fine. Start there.
