Hello All,

I have another edition of "help me diagnose this weird noise that could be 50 different things over the internet with a 15 second long video"! I have been obsessing all day on the forums about what this noise could possibly be, and then I realized I should just post a video of it. Some details below on when it happens and what I've done to try to eliminate the source.

Vehicle:
2000 Lx470 -- 255k miles
Oil + Driveline lubricated today
Alternator + Battery replaced ~3-4 weeks ago
New CV's/Repack Wheel bearings/Front Diff Fluid done in July
UCA's replaced in May
Handful of suspension and front end bushings replaced in 2023
AHC Flush in 2023
Front rotors/Bearings replaced early 2023
Steering Rack/ tie rod ends replaced with oem in 2020

Conditions:
1) Only happens when decelerating with foot off the pedal
2) Still happens in neutral (trans and transfer case, and combination of both)
3) Braking seems to lower the frequency, but not eliminate it completely
4) Happens primarily between 20-30mph.
5) It is NOT consistently doing it with every wheel spin, but it does seem to do it faster at faster speeds (not by a whole lot though).
6) Location seems to be passenger side of the vehicle, or possibly between center and passenger side.

I am planning on ripping into it tomorrow morning to get some details and collect some information, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or experience with something similar that I could bring in with me.

My current suspicions are:
1) Brakes. Warped rotor or uneven pad wear suspected. Some pulsing when braking from not seating the pads correctly (lesson learned). I'm sure this could lead to uneven wear and an uneven indicator noise on the pads etc.
2) Wheel bearing issue (3-9 o clock has a bit of slop but the bearings are not that old, and were repacked in June). Wheel bearings are only a few years old with one repack a year at minimum.
3) U-joint (the inconsistency seemsto throw me off here)

I would love any feedback or suggestions that you all may have and once again appreciate all of the collective brain power in here when it comes to the 100 series!

Thanks, James

Repacked wheel bearing when the outer locking nut was extremely loose and then noise stopped.
