3 rigs. 6 days. Tons of fun! It'll be my LX450, a Heep JKU & a Toy Taco. We'll head out of D/FW towards Clayton, Ok. (west entrance of K Trail). We'll travel east thru K Trail taking our time. Camp the first night halfway, or more, thru K trail. Next day finish the ~90 mile trail & then get on the highway to HWM/Ozark Trail. We plan on doing the ~140 mile stretch of the HWM so it'll be done in 2-3 days. For anybody that's done either of these, a couple questions:
Best camping spot ~1/2 way thru K Trail?
Should we do HWM/Ozark east to west or west to east?
How far is it from east end of K Trail to HWM Trail?
Any tips/advise?
Thanks!

These guys have had a lot to do with trails in that area and I believe they posted a bunch of trail info last year. I haven't been on either of those trails, so no real advice at this time. Also, Mark has posted videos from both of those and he is active on one of the Jeep forums where he posted more specific information, but I have forgotten which Jeep site it was.

Hope you guys have a blast! Would love to see some pics/vids or hear about how it goes. If you post any, could you put a link here?

I'm a new member on that site but it has very few members that visit rarely. Was hoping to get some others input. I'll post a link after the trip. Thanks!
