I was looking for some photo's and information on a fresh water tank on a M416 trailer.
I found a tank that will fit inside of the bed with 2" inches to spare. Wanting to possible put a small pump on the tank to extract the water
Any information will be helpful Will post some photo's soon
Thank you

Teotwaki doesn't have a M416, but it's close enough. I like the tank that came with it mounted over the hitch at the front wall of the trailer.

Others I've seen sit inside the front wall of the trailer.

And I've heard of flat tanks mounted under the front part of the bed, but that's not really high enough to get good gravity flow, so you would have to go with a pump down there.

A couple of thoughts on this. Generally, you want a water tank ahead of the axle, so hitch weight is right for most purposes.

It's good to have a tank that does not have openings and valves anywhere but on top. That way a failure of your valve won't dump your water. A very good idea off-road, but sometimes you can protect a valve well if you shield it. YMMV
