FREE free BJ42 frame in Bakersfield, CA

I picked up this frame with a drivetrain and pulled the drivetrain for my FJ40. I have no need for the frame and would rather see it go toward someone's project than the scrap yard. It's yours if you want it. Needs to be gone by Christmas. Please note this is for the frame only- no engine, trans, wheels, or axles.

are you sure it is a BJ 42 ? It doesn't look like a BJ engine or trans ?

Guy I bought it from said it was a bj42. I pulled a 3B diesel out of it, which did come in bj42s

I didn't think bj42 had transmission e-brake.

I have been wrong before. If it is a bj42 it will have a chassis number that starts with bj42

My guess is that its a BJ40 3L engine instead of the 3.4

Well, frame number says bj40. So I guess I could have swapped bodies instead of pulling the drivetrain. Too late now, though. So: *BJ40* frame available. Needs a new home or it’s going to the scrapper
