Chris Wood of ARB would like to invite you to attend ARB's Level-1
Overland Driving Seminar. This program takes the driver from pre-trip
preparation and in-field driving technique through vehicle recovery and personal
survival skills. Each driver will learn first-hand the time-proven
skills used by professionals to stay safe and successfully pilot their 4WD
vehicles on short "weekenders" or extended overland trips.

Chris Wood is a certified trainer with the International 4WD Trainers
Association
and brings over 23 years of experience to ARB's program.
Chris welcomes drivers of all experience levels and promises to sharpen the
skills of both the novice and seasoned off-roader. This class is offered free
of charge to members of the South Sound Cruisers, but is limited to ten
vehicles. This class is scheduled to be held on Thursday August 30,
2007 and will be conducted in-field on the Clover Springs 4WD
route,
adjacent to the beautiful William Douglas Wilderness. For more information on the
class and details regarding minimum vehicle requirements, please contact

I know, I'm just jealous. I will be regretting it the next morning while I'm downing coffee trying to wake up from a restless nights sleep, but I'm not getting those kind of accomodations without taking the wife along and she has to work.

Don't have too much fun with that hot tub.....

my :princess: and I are driving up on wed afternoon and we were planning on camping. I did a google search and looks like there is a couple of spots to camp

any body else is driving up on wed so we can caravan?

I am dropping Farron of at Grandma and Grandpa's in the morning the heading over some time during the day. I think mid week we should have a good chance of getting nice camping spots. I may head over in the morning and hit the Naches Ranger station for some maps, info, etc but could also run down in the afternoon after setting camp. What camp grounds are you thinking of?

Brandon

Received a cancellation today, which means there is one spot available!

Who wants to join us?!

"Also, I may have mentioned this to you, but I’ll be camping up the Little Naches River on Wednesday night. If anyone wants to camp in the area, we would welcome them. The Little Naches River is accessed from 410. I believe the turn off is 1900, but Horsetail Falls is a landmark of note in the area. I can’t vouch for the availability of campsites, but it’s a long river with lots of nooks and pull-offs. We’ll likely be up there somewhere."

I will probably camp somewhere in that area Wednesday & Thursday night maybe Friday night too if anyone wants to stick around and hit the trails Friday.

Heh, I'm actually doing this class with northwest overland society (as a co-driver) on friday. Won't be in a Yota though, riding in a Discovery. My Fiance is coming up with the truck friday night and I would be interested in hitting trails saturday if anyone is staying that long.
