I saw gov. surplus place on the outskirts of my town(rolla, MO) and thought he might have some of those utility trailers you guys like so much. I stopped by and he said he used to have around 200 of them but they went fast. All in all he has 3 left. One is a round fender type that he claims is a collectors item(sale is pending on it)
He helper took me back to the back lot and showed me the best one he has and it looked nice. It was painted white and already had a heavy lid on it. The inside was completly compartmentalised with heavy gage steel. The story behind it was that a construction company owned it and would pull it to the const. site put it on jacks, remove the wheels/tires, and leave it there until const. was done. He said he could take no less than 750 for it and that it would be ready to pull of the lot(working tail lights and tires)
The second one for sale right now has a water tank in it but that will be removed. I didn't get a good look at it but it appeared to be in Okay condition. I forgot to ask for a price on it.
He also 15 or so Mil. Humvee tires that had about 40% tread on them i think they they were 36 x 12.50s (does that sound right??) for around $10-$20 apiece depending on the quality of the tires.
