Finally found the owner of the White FJ80 with ARB, roof rack and durabak'd flairs. Name is David Pruett <sp>. He was entering Hwy 27 off Signal Mtn road as I was coming up 27. I chased him down and got out and told him I had been stalking him.:flipoff2: I was in my kick ass mini-van!:steer:

I had my TVA badge on and I actually scared him a little...

Anyway, its a '95 with 210k and he has had it since High School and I would guess him to be mid-late 30's. I didnt get to ask if it was locked.

He was in a hurry to head out of town with his brother, but I gave him my card and he is supposed to contact me in regards to learning more about the group.

He made a comment about a "good cruiser mechanic" in Soddy. I made mention of our "work days" and told him you all had fixed multiple repairs from the "good mechanic". He took another look at my card and said it would be in touch. He is interested in help with rebuilding the front axle. Think we will probably be gaining a new member soon. Stay tuned...

Well its been nearly a week...assumed he would have contacted me by now...but I guess he will just be a rogue FJ80 around the city.:flipoff2:

Naaa.. Guys David is a unique guy... Really nice... Just not much of a offroader... He is more of a Adventure type guy...

He bought the Cruiser that way, but then later put a Borla Exhaust and had the interior Rhino Sprayed...
It has a 4" lift, and runs 315 BFG's...

His family is the Pruett Food town folk, and he lives on Signal Mtn, but his Dad lives off Hixson Pike, right by Big Ridge area...

I have looked at this rig many times, and talked with him a bunch... But never once has he gotten excited about going offroad.
