Hello Guys, I have a ??? Our son will be in Fort( Benning ??? )on jan.17 to start his second tour with Army after serving 4 years , He came home for 1 1/2 years & now he just got called back ! ( not what he or us expected ) anyway my ?? Is this club in the same area ? If so maybe he can get out & hang with ya ? ( couple hours ) He is 38 yrs & owns a 78 Fj40 , I'm just fishing here guys , Thanks , Opps he is from california !

He is more than welcome to hang out with us but Ft. Benning is a little bit of a drive for him. We're based in ATL and primarilly on the north side. BUT, we do have some members down in S ATL and the Macon area.
ArmyTaco is from Macon and a great guy to hang out with. He just got out of the Army (hence his name) and served in Iraq as well. He frequents the board as well so perhaps he'll post up.
Also, here's another thought. There's a bunch of Cruiserheads in Auburn but I'd be careful with them Auburn boys, they like to tell stories that stretch the boundaries of reality and fantasy.
Plenty of Auburn guys just over the AL/GA line (Ft.Benning is about 1/2hr away from auburn).... good bunch.

Ted is right about quite a few Cruiserheads being in Auburn and it is not very far from Columbus. Tell your son to post up on the DixieLand Cruiser page and I am sure Land Speeder, Dragr1, or Terryjmatthew will post up and they all live in Auburn.

I was at Benning for a little while. There was a pretty cool little trail out there to play on. Lots of places to explore. It is about 1.5 hours to Benning from here. He should get a little time here and there to make runs. I was stationed at Ft. Stewart and managed to get to several runs including N. AL, NC, etc. It was a ride but it could be done. Benning is alot closer to Atl and the western parts of GA or Al, and middle TN.
