Looks like we're eastbound around lunch time Weds, get there that eve. Any plans on Wed eve. for dinner in town?
What time should we get to the park Thurs. morn?

Will everyone be set up near the entrance?

I've pm'd Bod about an SWR for my CB, hopefully I will have things done correctly. I'll bring my old traffic whistle just in case

Looks like it will be dry but in the upper 80s, does that sound about right?

We don't have any specific plans for dinner Wednesday evening - on your own.

Are you camping or staying in Salem? We will be camping and have everything set up down at the main campground.

If you hit the campground around 8 or 9 on Thursday you'll be fine. Most don't get moving in the morning like I do.

Correction CHRIS! Most of us stay in our tent listening to you get the fire going and coffee made before we decide to come out!
Hint.. When camping with Chris.. He'll sleep you to death sitting around the fire the night before but he's always up first with the coffee done by the time your out of the tent! When he gets "bored" he'll start banging pots and act all innocent when your head pop out of the tent!

Jason: the camp ground is deep in the park...when you pull in the park there is an office (it was a big rv last year) where you pay for camping...I'm pretty sure you'll get a map there or at least directions to the camp ground. It's not hard to find as the main road goes right to it.

Hey, I come by that naturally. Grandma R. did the exact same thing when we were kids spending time with them in the summer. About 5:30 she'd be up making coffee and hitting pans with spatulas (or so it seemed).

Did our registration take care of the park fees? Or is there a code word to pass the front gate and get to the event? If there's a code word, feel free to pm me

We took the "AC at night" road and won't be camping. We're staying at Barton's Lodging (trailer I believe). It's only 2 mi from the park. Hopefully this isn't a bad decision.

The registration fee took care of your vehicle and passenger fees. Stop at the office and let Sheila or Ron know you are a participant but are lodging elsewhere when you come to the park.
